Hi Stephen
I create a Veristand PFGA project that crashes LV2011 in the proess of asking me to discover existing system or create new system where i select create new system. I change the project type of different PFGA targets but LV2011 crashed no matter what in that stage. Do you experience that?

That is strange. I have not experienced that.
Can you try creating an FPGA project and see if the same thing happens?

I am good with FPGA project. I do that again to see the crash and i find chosing new system with the selection of real-time desktop is okay while chosing my computer or real-time PXI crashes LV2011

I don't clearly understand the last post. Does it crash with the New -> FPGA Project as well or only with New -> NI VeriStand FPGA Project?
Does this happen on other computers at your office or just yours? I'm wondering if there is a localization issue.

Hi Stephen
when I try to intall the following error occurs:
I use LabVIEW 2011 on a WinXP computer. Can you help me with this?
Thank you very much in advance.

Hmm that is strange. I've attached an debug version of the installer I would like you to use. Backup your existing installer (rename it) and place this one in the same location. When you run the debug version, it will create a file "NIVSFPGAInstallerLog.txt" on your desktop
can you run this and attach the log here? (if you don't know, click "use advanced editor" in the top right of a reply to attach files)

Important note: this VI will not actually do the install.. it will just make the log. It won't error and claim that the install is complete... but it didn't do anything but make the log.

Thank you very much for the debug version.
I cannot tell what is the difference between yesterday (showing the error) and today but for some reason the installation was successful now.
Yesterday I first tried running the installation from a network drive which failed. Then I copied the installation source to a local drive and run again - then also the error occurred. Is it possible that there still was a corrupted vi in memory from the first installation try? Sounds bizzare for me but I am not a specialist at all.
For your information I attached the log anyway.
Thank you very much for your time and effort!
Best reagards

Hi StephenB,
I occured the same problem as TobiGi. When I installed the vi you provide, NI VeriStand FPGA Interface Tools Installer_DEBUG.vi it complete the installation very fast and told me to restart LabVIEW, however, when I restart LabVIEW and press Go right beside the target NI VeriStand FPGA Project, it create a new vi for me not a NI VeriStand FPGA Project.
Can you help me with this?
Thank you very much in advance.
