A filter
bank is an array of band-pass filters that separates the input signal into
several components. Each component carries a single frequency subband of the
original signal. There are many applications involving filter banks such as
subband coding of audio signals and subband adaptive filtering for echo
cancellation. This library implements two-band and M-band filter bank design,
analysis and synthesis algorithms. Several demos to show how to use the library
are also provided.
