When running a CVI dll by testStand and TestExec.exe I get the attached error,

What can cause this error?

Hi Ray,

Attached are two screen shots.

I am running a cvi dll which operates a UUT by com as well as sg, sa and vsa.

The dll functions is called from the teststand which is running from the testexec GUI.

When finishing running the sequence the GUI gives an error and the sequence on

the TestExec GUI is changing to the attached sequence -an internal teststand sequence and point the failing on- "log result to database".

It doesn't happen in every run .

Since it is an internal sequence of teststand I don't know what the possible cause.

The teststand version is 4.0.0.326.

Let me know what more information can I give .

Look at the 'Details' section of the error code. It can't find the SQL server when logging to the database.

The application doesn't work with SQL server.

So this runs sometimes? Is you database held on a network? I am also assuming you are not using On-the-fly database logging, as you say it fails at the end of a test run?

Are you able to run your sequence file either using the seqeditor or a default UI?
