Hello,
during a night long test, my sequence has shown me this pop-up message that I have copied to the attached txt. I translate here the only Italian sentence which is written in the log:
Possible System Error: The available memory resources aren’t enough to complete the operation.
The message occurred during the OTF operation, but I don’t understand why, I mean I have set the OTF option as follow:
And I have never hade problem about memory, instead I have implemented OTF for solving some memory issues about long execution.
Is there someone who had the same problem?
Thank you for the attention!
Best Regard,
Zuc

Hi Zuc_Lab,
How much RAM is on your computer? If it has less memory the problem might be connected with that.

Hi,
To help troubleshoot the issue, can you answer the following questions?
- Have you also enabled option "Only Display Latest Results"?
- Is it possible that one of the TS steps is collecting very large amount of data?
- What version of TestStand are you using? There was a bug fixed in the OTF report generation in TS 2014 SP1 to fix memory increase when using OTF report generation.
- Can you try to narrow down the source of the leak using this article - Troubleshooting Memory Growth Issues in TestStand Systems - NI

Hi,
following the same order of your questions i can say that:
1. yes I have enabled that option and also the "discard result or disable result when not required by the model" one
2. the biggest data that i collect is a Labview graph but i have thought that it was managed by the programs without problem
3. I'm using the 2021 version
4. I will try it
Thank you!
