NI-Switch Relay Add-On Feedback

I have uninstalled NI-Switch from both the host and the real time target.

I have now reinstalled NI-Switch 15.1.1, but for some reason my real time target cannot see it for me see the host PC installation so that I can install on the real time target. Any clue what would casue the NI-Swtich installation to not be visible to the real time target?

It's possible you don't have Real-Time Support installed for the driver. Try running the installer again and selecting a custom install.

On the next page you should see the full list of options for install. Make sure that you have "LabVIEW Real-Time Support" selected for install in this list.

Yes, the real time Labview support component was missing.  I have now reinstalled NI-Switch 15.1.1 on real time target, but after deployment I am still getting the same error.

When you say "and nothing else", do you mean you only have NI-Switch installed on the target and nothing else or when you installed NI-Switch that was only component you installed while leaving others as is?

I was using your PXI image and reinstalling NI-Switch was the only component I changed in order to remove the error. Could you try installing a fresh copy of NI-Switch 16.0 to see if updating the driver on your host machine resolves the issue? This version of NI-Switch is still compatible with VeriStand 2015.

I've uninstalled 15.1.1 on both the host and target.

I downloaded and installed 16.0 on the host and target. The error is still present after deployment.  I'm not sure if this was communicated with the initial issue but I am seeing a system error when I undeploy as well.

Not sure if the two are related issues.

I tried with the image I sent you to confirm I get the same error unpon undeployment.

I'm fairly surprised that a reinstall of the driver didn't resolve the issue as it did for me. I should be able to do some additional testing this afternoon. Let me see if I can narrow things down more.

My original tests were completed with NI-Switch 15.0.1. I just verified 16.0 works. If I were to give you an image that works here, would you be willing to test it on your machine? If so, what would be the best way to get you that image file?

I would just need a link to download the image.  I'd be willing to check it out on the system out here.

Since it's a modified version of your image I want to ask to be sure. Are you alright with me putting this on our NI support FTP site for you to download?
