Next Steps - LabVIEW RIO Evaluation Kit
Why is NI-RIO optional?
Looking here, the Ni-RIO driver is listed as (optional) for use with the eval kit. I was always under the (maybe wrong) impression that it was a required driver for RIO devices.
Also the next sentence has the word "required", adding to the confusion.... 
Under what conditions is it not needed? Could somebody clarify? Thanks!
