Hi all!
I'd like to know if it is possible to deploy LABVIEW applications to PXI with a USB/Ethernet adapter at host-side instead of direct ethernet connection.
My host only has one ethernet interface and I have to use it to connect to other network (with MAC filter) so I cannot use it to connect to PXI.
An alternative would be use an USB/Ethernet Adapter in the host. Would it work?ar

Hi clebermarques,
I know that some people here at NI has already used one of these adapters with a cRIO and Win7 and it worked, but I've tried to use with a PXI-8110 controller in a PXI-1031 chassis and Win10 and it didn't work. My problem might be that Win10 doesn't recognize the adapter that I tried to use.
Can you buy one adapter and see if it work it out?
The other solutions that I can think of are buy another Ethernet interface or use a switch, but your MAC filter may avoid the use of a switch.
The import thing is that the NI Ethernet device must see the connection as an Ethernet interface, no matter how it's interfacing with the host.
Unfortunately, NI can not guaranty that any 3rd part solution may work.
Hope I have helped you, if not or if there is anything else we may do, just ask here.
Regards,
