I have two NI SYNC 6674T modules, each one housed in its own NI 1095 chassis.
The chassis are connected via an NI PXI-8398 MXI module in a parent-child configuration; the parent is hooked up to a host PC in a MXI-to-PCIe configuration.
I'd like to synchronously trigger the 6674T modules. I am designating the 6674T module in the parent chassis as the parent trigger and connecting it to the 6674T in the child chassis via the PFI connectors and an SMA coax cable.
My question is, how long can the SMA coax cable be for the synchronous triggering of the two 6674T modules to be successful? Is three meters too long?
