NI 6115 displays max range all the time when acquiring input

Hi

I m using PXI 1031 with 8106 controller. In that i m using 6115 S serie multifunction daq. The DAQ gets detected under remote system devices and interfaces. when performing self test the daq also passes self test. But when i open test panel and give input to the daq the output from the daq is usually the maximum range that i have given. Even while creating a virtual channel and aquiring data the daq displays the same max range result. What could be the problem with the DAQ
