Nees to replace interface for PXIe-1073

We inherited a PXIe-1073 chassis and need to replace the missing Cabe and interface card.

We are looking at  

NI PCIe-8362, 2 Port MXI-Express Interface

MXI-Express Cable, Gen 1 x1, Copper, 3m.

will this work for us?  

We also have a PCIe-8381 will this card work with adaptor card for the PXIe-1073. 

a preferable idea is usb Model: PXIe-8301 with a thunderbolt cable and adaptors to usb 3.

Hi Richardb3,

The PCIe-8361, 8362, and 8363 will work for the PXIe-1073 (along with the x1 cable you mentioned).

The PCIe-8381 isn't useful for this application because the x8 cable interface doesn't have an adapter to get to x1 (and there are some electrical incompatibilities).

The PXIe-8301 goes in a controller slot which the PXIe-1073 doesn't have (it has a built-in MXI controller instead). It won't work in a 1073.
