Hello guys,
I am wondering about compatibility in this scenario below. While all on paper everything seems compatible, has anyone tried doing something similar?
PXI-1033 with installed PXIe-8301 -> PXIe-8301 is connected to the ASUS Thunderbolt EX4 -> ASUS Thunderbolt EX4 is plugged to the motherboard (Asus Prime Z690-P) that has Thunderbolt header support.
Thanks!

Hi,
I am struggling with a similar setup. PXIe-8301 with a Thunderbolt 4 PC. I am having very inconsistent error running DCpower for example. A lot of errors from these vi's that are "unknown". The test equipment and VI's work perfectly with Thunderbolt 3 PC.
My conclusion is the 8301 does not support Thunderbolt 4.

Thank you for your reply.
Just a check - At least on my M/B there is a specific PCIe slot that you can plug in the Thunderbolt card. Also, you need additional cabling from the card to the M/B Thunderbolt header.
I would check out NI MAX and find the detected device, maybe do a calibration or check the signals.
