PXI 2529 NI Switch Topology

In Testand I initialize in the setup the DMM then I would like to initiate NI switch. I always get the error code 1074118655 and the detail says: niSwitch Initialize With Options.viAnother process has already opened a session to this switch module. I tried to change the topology but without success. How can I test the DMM and NI switch with each other? I want to use the multimeter and NISwitch in one step during the test procedure.

Looks like the session for the switch card is already opened somewhere. Please check if you are closing the session for switch module properly.

A typical order of operation (spread across the teststand sequence or VIs)

1. Open session for instrument
2. Operate on the instrument (configure, measure, switch or source)
3. Operate on the instrument (configure, measure, switch or source)
4. Operate on the instrument (configure, measure, switch or source)
5. ....similarly more operations
6. Close the session for the instrument

Also, try specifying the topology of the card while initializing it (since it supports multiple topologies)
