For several months now we've had issues with MAX correctly identifying our VST (PXIe-5644R). When the problem occurs, there is an error -63150 and the VST shows up in MAX isolated from the PXI chassis and it shows a hardware failure.
Typically we can restart the PC and PXI chassis to resolve the problem. Other times we reset configuration data in max and restart. We need to understand what is happening here, so any insight would be appreciated. I apologize, but I'm not sure what supporting information / logs you may need, but if you point me to it I will be happy to provide whatever you need.

I have seen these kinds of errors in the past. I cannot say for sure how we fixed it other than by moving it to other slots, reinstalling drivers, etc.
May be a good support call to NI as well. They would take you down a more methodical path to ensure nothing 'obvious' is missed.
