I'm trying to implement serial communication between my PXI and a servocontroller that uses the RS232 standard. Looking at technical specifications of my board (7841-R) I can see that the digital channels are bases on the TTL protocol.
I'd like to know if it is possible to implement the serial communication usign the analog channels of the 7841-R or if it is necessary to use the digital channels, adding some external hardware components to convert the signal from TTL to RS232
