NI Week Mobile App

I had a hard time find the NI Week mobile app.  Is this a legit application NI recommends using?

I ask because I don't know GenieConnect, and don't feel like giving my NI credentials to them unless NI says it is safe to do so.

EDIT: Also is there a reason NI doesn't advertise this app more?  It seems each year I have a hard time finding it.

In my case I had a notification to download the app on the NI website when I registered for NI Week, and also a reminder email a few days ago.

I use the app and it works great. I would say go for it.

If that's the case, sorry.  I've always had issues getting some emails from NI, always falling through the cracks, and I'll just blame it on IT.
