Motor simulation toolkit error with JMAG file

I created a JMAG model and exported the RTT file.  When I try to read it in LabVIEW with the motor simulation toolkit, I get this error.  Any ideas?  I know for a fact it's a PMSM motor.  I even tried creating RTT files from some of JMAG's existing templates...same error.

Error -376401 occurred at NI_EMSim_PMSM_FEA.lvclass:Read PMSM RTT File.vi

Possible reason(s):

Electric Motor Simulation Toolkit:  Failed to read the RTT file. Possible reasons: the RTT file is neither for a permanent magnet synchronous motor or switched reluctance motor; the RTT file is invalid. Contact National Instruments for technical support.

Hey Garrett,

I'm not sure specifically why this error would come up but I'm looking into it now. Is there anything special you needed to do in order to get the error to recreate? I am going to try creating a basic JMAG model to recreate the problem in a simple way.

We will keep looking into this and let you know when we have some troubleshooting information as soon as possible.

I simply downloaded JMAG-Express Public, created an RTT from one of their examples, then tried opening it in LabVIEW with the Read PMSM RTT File.vi

I tried several different JMAG configurations, with the same results.

By the way, do you encounter the same error if read the RTT file from JMAG-RT Motor Model Library?

I can reproduce the error with your rtt file.  We will look into this issue and get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi Garrett,

I check you RTT file by using JMAG-RT Viewer. It looks like this RTT file is used for a PMSM LdLq with Delta connection. Unfortunately, the 2013 toolkit only supports the PMSM harmonic RTT file with star connection. That is the reason you see the error code -376401.

I'm able to change the winding type, but for the life of me can't figure out how to change to harmonic.  Am I using the right JMAG program?  I'm using the same program that NI links you to (JMAG Express Public).
