Compact rio TCP IP socket connection slow without web page open

Hi there,

we are using a Compact Rio to acquire data at 25Hz and send to a host PC (both running labview ).

The two are on the same network and during testing connected using a cross-over cable.

If we connect to the Rio web page which is showing the data upload, the connection and data flow to PC is fine, writing to files at 25Hz.

As soon as the web page is closed the transfer rate drops to 10Hz or worse.

Can you clarify what you mean by RIO Web Page? Are you using remote front panels from a Host VI or the Web Configuration page for the cRIO or something else? Any screenshots of your code would also be helpful to see how the TCP communication is setup.
