Hello,
I am currently trying to collect an input from an Dytran 3225f accelerometer that requires IEPE excitation current, however, I am limited to a NI-9239 DAQ into a NI cDAQ-9174 which does not feature IEPE capabilities. Would there be a way to provide the IEPE current of 2 mA externally using some other method while still having the data being input through the NI-9239? Thanks for any help!

Yes, you can use an external IEPE injector or signal conditioner to power your accelerometer and acquire the signal using DAQ.
I couldn't find enough information on the 3225F accessories to see if HBK world offers such a signal conditioner.
here are some IEPE power supplies I found through google (unfortunately the belows ones do not support 2mA)

Edit, HBK world does offer a signal conditioner that supports 2mA IEPE drive - https://www.hbkworld.com/web/dytran/global/en/products/electronics/signal-conditioner/p-4110C
