Reading Last Character

Hello,

In the next VI, I read the first character in a string but I was wondering if there is a constant to tell LabView that I want the last character. Suppose I do not know the length of the string.

I don't think there is a node to help you determine that. You could use Rotate String node but the efficiency of a String Length would be better I believe.

Here are a couple of ways to get last character.  Unsure if one would be better than the other for long strings.
