Hello all,

I wanted to try out one thing on cRIO which is accessing a cRIO from a remote network. I have two different networks having different gateways, one computer in Network 1 has LabVIEW and the Network2 has got a real time hardware (say a cRIO or a cFP or an RT PXI system).

Could someone please let me know what is the way to access this RT target remotely? Also would I need a router to connect between the 2 networks or woud a LAN switch server the purpose.

If the RT device is on a different subnet, you'll need to manually add the target in MAX by right-clicking the Remote Systems menu, and selecting Create New.

I did that. I have used this option in LV 8.6 but when I try it in LV 2009, I do not get that option.
