Issues Installing ViBox - Probes

Hi Olivier,

Sorry for joining the discussion so late, I'm not sure if you are still active on this project.

I'm really keen to use the ViBox enum history probe and I get no issues when installing as mentioned by others.

I just don't get any Saphir history probe option added to the menu regardless of data type (screenshot attached).

Could you, or anyone else, suggest a fix for this?

I'm using LV2021.

Edited to add; I get the correct right click menu to create the enum probe in the project window as per the instructions and the VIs appear to run without error.

Thanks in advance.

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I'm sorry, but I'm not working anymore at SAPHIR. I can't help with that 😓

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for the quick reply, no problem at all 😁.

I have actually now found a slightly clumsy workaround.  The custom probe has actually been created but just not added to the right click menu.  If you create a new custom probe manually but base it on the Saphir one in the custom probe folder then it works!

Cheers, Paul.

Hi Paul,

Have you noticed that the probes are now open source, as a few other of our toolkits ?

You can find it at : QMT / open-source projects / Probes · GitLab

Fork it and improve it as you wish ! 🙂
