Hello everyone,
I have a 1082 chassis with a PXIe-6368 module connected to a SCB-68A on connector 1. I want to connect a Futek LTH350 (L2761) to the SCB-68A, but I'm use to connect transducer and load cells to screw connectors that have EXT+, EXT-, Signal+, Signal - (easy just follow the symbols) like for example NI 9219 module.
How does EXT +- and Signal +- map into SCB-68A pins?
My guess is that EXT+- AO and Signal +- goes to AI, but I'm not sure about this.
Can someone be kind and give me a hand or point me in the right direction?
I'm trying to learn more about the subject.
Thank you in advance.

IMHO, 6368 is not the best instrument to measure loadcell though it is capable. Since it was not designed for Loadcell application, you have to make use of AO and AI separately to excite the bridge and make the measurement.
For excitation, you can use any of the AO and for Signal lines, any AI. Trying to configure the 6368 with SCB-68A on NI MAX, it recommended an external excitation source and connect the signal lines to AI as depicted below,
