NI-9219 channel power down

Looking at the cDAQ line I found the NI-9219 that has built in filtering so I bought it. The issue I am having for current powered loops is it seems to power the device down if not in use.

For Example: I have 4 pressure transmitters. If I call ai0, the device powers on and while powering on I get bad reading for about 2 seonds, it slowly counts up from 0ma to 4ma. Then it I stop calling ai0 and call ai1, ai0 powers down and ai1 powers up. This causes a lot of issues with bad data. Is this normal and can I keep all four channels powered weather or not I am calling them?
