NI 9225_Low Voltage Measurement

Hello,

I'd like to learn the sensitivity range of NI 9225 (with the 300 V measurement range) when the low voltage signals (2-3 V) are applied as input signals.

*  Can the NI 9225 be used for the low voltage measurement ?

* Can anybody help us with the accuracy of the NI 9225 module especially in low voltage measurement?

Thanks in advance.

I am going to cite some sections from the user manual to help you,

  • Resolution of ADC (24-bit sigma delta) = 50.66uV/LSB

  • Accuracy specs.

Considering the worst-case uncalibrated max, for an input signal of 2V, accuracy will be 2V +/- ( 1.6% of 2V + 0.66% of 425V)

2V +/- (0.032V + 2.805V)

The issue will be that the offset error will be larger than your actual measurement and similarly, you can calculate other conditions.
