Data acquisition

The goal:

To record one cycle of a fatigue test "10Hz" with 8 strain gauges every "X" cycles over "X" time. We have the process working with SignalExpress using the recording options start/stop + duration. EG: recording every 1 min for 100ms 10 times should be 10 instances of 100ms (1 cycle at 10Hz) Test lasting 10 min.

The Problem:

The SignalExpress record time is random from 100ms up to 1 second. See attached.

Anyone know how to make this stable? We would like to keep the 100ms if possible.

Hi Bruce,

 

How exactly is the data being recorded? Is someone pressing record roughly every minute, or is Signal Express doing this automatically? Feel free to attach your signal express project so we can take a look at it.
