Announcing June 18 Test System Security Summit

Email invitations went out this week for our next meeting. If you didn't get it, email steve.summers@ni.com to RSVP. I'll send you the meeting details.

Here are the meeting details:

Date: June 18 2024, Tuesday

Time: 12:00 – 2:00 Central Time

Attendance: Virtual via Teams Call

Cost: Free to all attendees

Who should attend: Test teams, IT teams, and security professionals who need to meet security compliance requirements on test systems.

Topics for this meeting are based on feedback from test engineers about the challenges with security compliance that you report to us as most relevant. For this meeting these include:

  • An update on regulations. CMMC, CRA, FAR/DFARS all have new updates that driving requirements and schedules. We’ll provide an overview of these programs and how they are impacting test engineering teams.
  • Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and vulnerability management. Security teams are increasingly asking for SBOMs to manage licensing and vulnerabilities. We’ll share an update on NI’s plan to provide SBOMs, and lead a discussion on how test teams can manage security updates on their systems.
  • Static Test in LabVIEW. JKI will share some of the work they’ve done to provide static test capabilities for LabVIEW’s graphical code. This is your chance to see what is becoming available and to provide feedback and input to our plans to provide this tool.

We look forward to seeing you at this event. Please forward this invitation to others who may be interested in attending.

Remember to email steve.summers@ni.com to get the meeting details if you are interested in attending.
