Hi all,

For my work i need to put a string control on the UI to get machine IP address from User. I want to dispaly the format also in the same control as mentioend in the attachment.

The string control will dispaly the three dots. when any user wants to enter data in the control he/she can enter only 3 charcters before each dot which needs to be in range of 0-255 and the moment user enters teh fourth number, the fourth number must be moved after the dot.

Please give your suggestion.

Fake that string by using 4 numeric controls and 3 free text labels containing a dot each…

You can try using this IP Address XControl:

Download it and drag the "IP Address.xctl" file onto your front panel.
