I want to develop a project that processes incoming signals and can detect burst signals. Could anyone please provide guidance on how to approach this?
I will take signal from either USRP or VSA. Datatype of signal will be Real Time IQ which will be saved in array of complex numbers or I and Q arrays. Here questions arise: What is a "burst"? and what criteria do you use to distinguish "burst" from the rest of the "signal"? I have the same questions. I also want to know which criteria and technique should be applied to distinguish between burst and rest of signals.
