Direction finding 2X1 MIMO system

How the USRP can be used to implement direction finding  2X1 MIMO system? Can i get any documentation or code?

       I also depoy a 2x1 MIMO system,and I confront many problem.I have a official demo of 2x2 MIMO,and I think it is ok for 2x1.When I run the demo,following mistakes are occurd:

niUSRP Initiate.vi<ERR>The MIMO cable link did not lock within the alloted time.

niUSRP Write Tx Data (2D CDB).vi<ERR>The specified session handle is invalid or does not correspond to an active session.
