Dear All,
I am a student who is very new to software defined radios and am trying to wrap my head around the requirements needed for the system. In a lot of online literature I am seeing NI USRP b2xx series being provided a time reference using the Octoclock 2990 (10MHz 1PPS). However, for our project we have NI USRP 2922 that are available to us and thus I need to synchronize them as a Phased array for use for my research.
I was wondering if the NI USRP 2922s can support the Octoclock. I am asking this as currently we do not own any time reference distribution module and thus would like to confirm the compatibility before we make the purchase. In addition, if there are any better or cheaper time reference distribution sources that can be used with the NI USRP 2922 then please let me know.
Thank you all for your time and help
Best Regards,
Usama
