Sampling Frequency vs Device Receiver Frequency

Hello everyone,

                            I have a device and i need to work around its parameters namely device frequency and sampling                                  rate.

                            I need to record at least 2 minutes of an FM signal.

                            And the sample rate is limited by the number : 61.44MSPS (Limited by USB 3.0 data rate)

                            How do i choose the parameters mentioned above now?

Hey Vinayak,

The device frequency is the center/carrier frequency of your signal you want to record.

The sampling rate is your bandwidth, but keep in mind that you need at least twice the sampling rate of the maximum frequency width you want to record (Nyquist).
