USRP B200 Power Issues

I am trying to get my new USRP B200 to work with my Beagle Bone Black (Running Ubuntu 14.04), however, I cannot get the LED's to turn on with the board when plugged into my Beagle Bone. The device is able to work perfectly with my windows machine using the same cable I am using to connect  to the board.

What type of USB connection does the Beagle Bone Black have? I believe the B200 needs a USB 3.0 connection to get power over the bus connection. 

Also, if you're using an Ettus B200 with Linux and GNU Radio, you should contact Ettus support. Not many people have experience with the Ettus products or Linux tools on these forums.
