I know you can do host side processing with the X310+BasicRX/TX daughtercards (thanks to Sarah_Y). But what about FPGA side processing (with LVFPGA) ? Has anybody here tried it?

apchar_,
I don't think there will be any problems with using FPGA side processing. There should be a FPGA vi in the sample project used in Sarah_Y's example. The basicRX/TX daughterboard is not officially supported, but it works in most cases.

Sarah_Y's example is host side. I just ordered the cards so time will tell. I'll follow this up when I try it.

I was wrong. Sarah_Y's example has an fpga vi and a host vi to interact with it. I had to dig into the usrp library and disable the error checking that examines the daughterboard part number, but after that it works fine. I have my loopback (finally).
