Using LabVIEW, Databases, and Python to Improve Data Longevity
This month, Zach Olson CLD from Cyth Systems will focus on using LabVIEW to get data into databases. He will discuss NI DIAdem and SystemLink for test data management, but also introduce other useful methods. Explore data tagging and leverage this concept along with the LabVIEW Python Node, allowing seamless integration of Python scripts into your LabVIEW workflows. Use cases for Python with LabVIEW include data processing, data export, writing to databases like SQLite, importing and mining data. Python also offers alternative toolsets for analyzing and visualizing tagged data, such as creating dynamic graphical displays using Matplotlib. If you have previous experience with these topics, please bring example use cases so we can discuss them.
This in-person meeting is open to anyone in the Salt Lake City, Utah USA area who is interested in learning and sharing information about NI LabVIEW. Attendance at this event counts toward NI Recertification by Points. Please feel free to pass this information along to others who are interested in LabVIEW!
