How to custom radio message

Hi all,

i am working on project which need to send string message from WSN 3230 to PC. I know i can use a share variable but i want to try custom radio Messages to send string data.  How can i make a custom one?

Hey Andy,

Here is  white paper that covers what you are asking for. You need the LabVIEW Wireless Sensor Network Module to impelement sending custom messages back from the node.

Hi Kyle,

Thanks for your reply, the white paper is good but it only show how to create user defind variable. I installed the Labview 2013 wireless sensor module  and NI-WSN 1.5. When i drag the radio messages from WSN, it only have 5 options. How can i edit the radio messages and make it receive data just like the write paper example.

Hi,

To remove the rest of the options you can right click on that which you don't want and they will be removed and the option which is in white paper will resemble the which u gonna use.
