Anemometer and Myrio

Can I hook up this anemometer

To a myRio and read the windspeed in labview? If so how can I do it?

I know that the anemometer has an output of 2.5 mph/Hz pulse output.

Do I hook up to digital port of MyRio and just multiply the DaQ output by 2.5?

Hi Jackson,

According to the specification, the anemometer uses reed switch, so I guess it will work with myRIO. Just you should do correct connections, so that to apply signal to the myRIO digital input when the reed switch is closed.

After you need to count pulses on the used digital channel, as the anemometer provides one pulse per rotation.
