Cant use Digital MultiMeter getting: Error -223747 occurred at ELVISmx_subMIOReadEEPROMf32.vi

hello, i am trying to download the software for my Digital MultiMeter on my MyDAQ. it successfully starts up the multimeter window, but when i run it it gives me this message:

Error -223747 occurred at ELVISmx_subMIOReadEEPROMf32.vi

Internal Software Error occurred in MIO software. Please contact National Instruments Support.

cany help is much appreciated
