I have recently started a project where I am reading data off a wireless charging coil connected to an LDC 1612. I am trying to see the changes in the value read by the myRIO with a change in the distance of a metal strip from the wireless charging coil. I was previously using an Arduino Uno for reading the data, but since the sampling rate of a myRIO is much higher, I switched to that. My code is working but the reading is very weird. On touching the coil to the sensor (distance= 0) it goes to the max reading which it should) but then falls to half its value after a few seconds. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience in working with a myRIO and an LDC sensor.
