Somebody from NI needs to look into the "normal random number generator" (e.g. as used inside the chi-squared distribution). They seem less than random and don't average into a smooth histogram with sufficient samples. There are signifiant local spikes that don't everage out.

I would like to inform that the bug in the Continuous Random.vi for generation of random values of a Chi-squared distribution also occur when the Chi-squared Non-Central distribution is used.

Here's the required link to the discussion of the bug.
Basically, the random seed is picked from a very shallow pool, causing many duplicate "random numbers" if many are generated with reset=true.
