Someone had a bit of time on their hands..

 

How would this be useful?  Reduce SPAM?

For bonus points colour code by character (ala paint by numbers), and use a monospace font.

 

 

edit:It also compresses down quite nicely.

That's a neat way to obfuscate code. I guess there are tools available that can blow any given regExpr. But on the other side, these tools will also allow (maybe more intentional) simplify the regExpr down to a human readable format again.
