If you receive Error 63 when running your driver framework code, this is likely due to a VI Server communication error. The Driver Framework uses VI Server to communicate with a global Console dialog, enabling one dialog to be used across projects.
To resolve this issue:
- In LabVIEW go to the Tools menu and select Options
- Select VI Server
- Ensure that TCP/IP is checked, Port is set to 3363, and the Machine Access List includes the IP address of your PC. If it already includes " * ", that will also enable VI Server for your PC (as well as all others who attempt to communicate with it).
- Restart LabVIEW
