What is the maximum differential quadrature encoder frequency an NI 9361 can handle?
The module is installed in aa cDAQ9188 chassis.

Hi Zack,
Page 36 of the User Guide mentions that the maximum tested DIO frequency is 10 MHz.
https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/375052c/resource/375052c.pdf
Do you know what frequency your application requires? Have you tried testing it out?

Thanks for your quick response, however I'm using a cDaq9188 chassis and not a RIO.
Best regards!
Zack

Hey Zack,
Sorry about that, in my search I ended up switching 9361 to 9631. Dislexic moment!
I think the product page for the 9361 has what you are looking for:
https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/ni-9361.html
It sounds like it can keep up with a 1 MHz input signal. However, the fastest it can output the current count is 102.4 kHz.
