I am trying to run DAQExpress3.1, but on start is gives the error
"Could not load DAQmx. If you have not restarted after installation, reboot now. If you continue to see this message reinstall DAQmx"
I have reinstalled DAQmx and DAQExpress multiple times, along with using NI Package Manager to repair the installations, but I cannot resolve the error. My DAQmx installation is v18.6, which is listed as compatible with DAQExpress3.1.

This problem was solved using the following method to reset the NI MAX database, recommended by NI technical support:
"My initial solution involves a reset of the NI MAX database. First, make sure you have any configurations of NI MAX saved if you would like to keep them. You can do this by following the directions here: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000PA7DSAW&l=en-US
. Next, within MAX, go to "tools" and then "reset configuration data." Retry launching DAQexpress."

I second this method, I met the same issue, no mater how many time reinstall DAQmx, DAQExpress won't start up and error message keep same.
After I followed alexkane's direction, I fixed that issue! Awesome!

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately this did not resolve the issue for me.

Hi xfrmrs,
I just follow this, within MAX, go to "tools" and then "reset configuration data." Then problem solved, if you keep see error msg, please contact NI support.
