Does anyone know of a free program similar to DASYLab?

I'm interested in learning more about signal processing. Can anyone help with naming a program similar to DASYLab but is (legally) free?

Your question is very vague. If this is for personal, noncommercial use, you could use the LabVIEW community edition.

Maybe the OP should describe in more detail what they are looking for...

The printed book included a copy of DASYLab S, a version of DASYLab Full with only one driver for the PC Sound Card, and some other limitations to prevent commercial use. 

I couldn't find it on Amazon, which is where I purchased it many years ago. It's a good book!

Correction... a 2007 version of the book is still available on Amazon in the US
