XLR8 Excel found unreadable content

Hi,

I am using XLR8 to open a multi-page Excel template, write to some cells, save to a new file and close.

When I open the new file with Excel I get the following error...

"Excel found unreadable content in 'my file name.xlsx'

I am using the following software...

Windows 10 (64 bit).  English (UK)

Microsoft Office Excel 2007

LabVIEW 15

Any help resolving this problem would be appreciated

At the moment I cannot attach the Excel file as it contains confidential information.

the screenshots don't help very much.

Please contact us by e-mail with an example of your source code and your excel-template - and also the version of XLR8 you are currently using. ( produkte at dataahead dot de )

thanks for providing us with an example via e-mail.

I already answered you but for everyone else who might read this thread here is what went wrong:

1) Your Excel-template file contained a write-protected area on one of the sheets. XLR8 cannot handle this.

2) Some very special formulas in another sheet which in fact where also not necessary at all also caused an excel file with unreadable content. Unfortunately I could not determine the exact reason why these formulas are so problematic.
