Calculated channels not showing in NAVIGATOR

Hello,

As the title states, I can't seem to get any of my calculated channels in my TDM files to appear when I search for them by name in NAVIGATOR. I can only see channels that exist  in both the raw .csv file and the .TDM.

Do I have to enable something, or is this a limitation?

Hi Kevin_McG,

What version of DIAdem are you using?  

This is defnitely expected to work.  I just ran a test in DIAdem 2015 in which I imported a .CSV file.  I then calculated a new channel and saved the data as a .TDM.  After that, I added the location of the .TDM to the DIAdem Search Areas.  I am able to search (and find) the .TDM calculated channel I created.  

Does this seem consistent with the process you are using?

Can you lease verify that you have added the location of your files to the DIAdem Search Areas?

Can you please verify that you are searching for channels and not channel groups or files?

After you save a .TDM file, it takes the DataFinder some time to index the new channel. Are you allowing some time for the indexing to complete after saving the .TDM file?
