We're working with two sets of data, one set from 2007, and one set from 2008. The data recorded is similar, just recorded a year apart. We are interested in physiological recordings and video files, and in synchronizing the two while playing back data (in graph form) and video through DIAdem. We are using version 11 and are getting the Visual C++ Runtime Error for all of our 2008 data and some of the 2007 data. We have tried using both versions 10.0 and 10.2, but the same errors occured. DIAdem crashes when we try to fast forward through our data or videos.
Any help is greatly appreciated,

Hi Jarrod,
I have not seen this "Visual C++ Runtime Error" in DIAdem-VIEW, so I'm just guessing as to what's going on here. Do I infer from your posting correctly that you are able to play back the video synchronized with the data with the "Run" button at normal (1.0) playback speed? Is it only a problem during "fast-forwarding"? What type of video files are you using, and how dense are the frame markers in those videos (1 every 10 frames, 1 every 100 frames, etc.)? What are the differences between the 2007 data and video and the 2008 data and video that might affect the syncronization (file size, file type, video codec, etc.)? What is the processor speed and available RAM and hard drive speed on the computer you are using? Finally, do both videos play correctly all the way through in Windows Media Player?
Would you be able to post the two data sets to our ftp site so that we can take a look at them and see if we can reproduce the problem? My guess is that we will make more progress via email.

Hi Jarrod,
DIAdem R&D mentioned today that an issue was resolved in DIAdem 11.0 SP1 that sounds very similar to what you're reporting. If you have the time and inclination, you could try downloading the evaluation version of DIAdem 11.0 and manually add on the SP1 service pack and try it out.
