upgrade the module type

Greetings from France

be able to upgrade the module type, for example singleton type to cloneable type, would be a great feature.

menu -> DQMH -> Module -> updgrade

A+

Hello @Desruelle_luc

First, we want to thank you for your suggestion.

We've been discussing this new feature for a long time (it was first "officially" requested here 2,5 years ago). The amount of work is huge, and we have always declined the request in the past. We still don't think to implement it.

However, we reopened the discussion during a DQMH Trusted Advisor meeting. The following idea was raised: providing a tool that would allow, starting from an existing singleton module, to create a new cloneable module with all its events. Moving the code of the module will still be done manually. This should make the process more painless.

Does it make sense for you?

None that I'm aware of. Sorry Oli! We will revisit this in our next Consortium meeting.
