Error in running Simple Math licencing

At the point in setting up that "The following directory does not exist:  C:\Hands-On\Simple Math\licensed  Do you wish to create it?  When "Yes" was pressed the  following error was reported.  Tried several times with the same result.  Any Thoughts

Error 1 occurred at Create Folder in NI_LV2PLicAPI.lvlib:ALT_CopyLFToLicensesDir.vi->NI_LV2PLicAPI.lvlib:ALT_CopyAndLicenseLibrary.vi->NI_LV2PLicAPI.lvlib:AddonLicensingToolBasic.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  An input parameter is invalid. For example if the input is a path, the path might contain a character not allowed by the OS such as ? or @.

NI-488:  Command requires GPIB Controller to be Controller-In-Charge.

It might be because your company name has a period (".") in the end and hence it tries to copy the license file in "C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Partners\FlexAble Systems, Inc.\Licenses" which it can't, because Windows removes the period at the end in a folder name.
