hi,

   what all are the ways to generate waveforms( with different timing waveforms) and i would like to easiest ways to define our waveforms

Hey Raj,

I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to do. Some more details might help. I'm also not sure if you have settled on the 6541 or if you are open to different instruments to meet your needs. For general background on waveforms, you should start with the Digital Arbitrary Waveform Generators (NI-HSDIO) help.

 

If what you're looking for with "timing waveforms" is timesets, (common in Digital ATE, where you want to be able to change the edge specification from cycle to cycle) I would recommend the brand new Digital Pattern Instrument: https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/pxie-6570.html

 

On the other hand, if you've got your heart set on NI-HSDIO, look into oversampling: https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/11/designing-semiconductor-ate-with-the-ni-...

hi,

    i am going to generate a control signals by NI PXI-6541 which is going to control the ADC7862(analog to digital converter).

   In the IC data sheet they have to mentioned the necessary timing signals and timing waveforms

    Here by i have attached timing waveform of that IC, now i want to know how to generate this signals

   Could i able generate this signals by Labview signal express software? or please suggest me the method i Should use?

You can generate these signals in LabVIEW programmatically or with the NI Digital Waveform Editor and playback in LabVIEW. For more information check out this link.
